Background

Daniel Scavino has served as White House Deputy Chief of Staff since January 20, 2025, and as Director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office since October 13, 2025, succeeding Sergio Gor after Gor's confirmation as U.S. ambassador to India. One of Trump's longest-serving aides, he previously directed the White House social media office and served as deputy chief of staff for communications in the first administration. Scavino began his career managing Trump National Golf Club Westchester.
